a) If you wish to change the dates of your booking after confirmation has been issued then you will be liable to pay a handling fee of £25/€35 to change dates. It is not possible to rearrange your booking less than six weeks prior to its commencement.
b) In exceptional circumstances It may be necessary to make alterations to the booking arrangements for reasons beyond our control. Should this occur every attempt will be made to make other suitable arrangements with as little inconvenience as possible, or all payments made will be refunded without delay. We will not accept any further liability for losses or expenses resulting from this. We also have no obligation for any alterations caused by Civil Strife, sickness, bad weather, strikes, transportation problems or any other circumstances amounting to Force Majeure
c) We cannot accept responsibility for loss of life, injury, loss or damage to personal property, unless caused as a direct result of our own negligence.
d) The holidaymaker undertakes to leave the property and its contents in the same condition as at the commencement of the holiday and to leave the property in the same state of cleanliness in which it was found. We shall be compensated for any damage and breakages which may occur.
e) The number of people using the holiday home must not exceed four.
f) The owner of the property or persons acting on behalf of the owner must be allowed access to the property at any reasonable time during your stay.
g) The information on this site relevant to the property was known to be correct at June 2019. However some facilities may have been altered since that date over which we have no control, subsequently we can accept no responsibility. We cannot accept responsibility for the accuracy of any verbal information or statements made by our servants or agents.
h) Final payment for the total cost of the booking (and a separate £100/€150 cheque for the security deposit) must be received by us six weeks prior to commencement of the booking. Failure to do so may mean that you will lose your booking. If any cheque payment is returned to us by our bank the charges for this will be passed on to you. Any currency exchange charges are to be met in full by you. The security deposit will be returned to you within four weeks after the end of your stay, less any deductions for excessive cleaning/damage/loss.
i) Once a holidaymaker has returned home it is very difficult for us to investigate complaints of any nature. Regrettably therefore we are unable to accept any claims once a holiday has been completed, and will not enter into any correspondence concerning such claims.
j) It is possible that, during your stay, something could go wrong. Should this happen, please contact the caretaker of the property during your stay. Should the matter remain unresolved then please contact us immediately and we shall endeavour to settle the issue.
k) Should it be necessary for a customer to cancel a booking then we must be notified immediately by phone, and confirmed in writing. If the holiday is cancelled more than six weeks prior to the commencement of the holiday you will lose your deposit. If you cancel within six weeks of the start date, whether or not the final balance has been paid, you are liable for the total cost of the booking. We strongly advise all clients to take out travel insurance to include late cancellation cover.
l) Booking forms received with the appropriate deposit are accepted by us only on the understanding that these Booking Conditions have been read and accepted by the holidaymaker(s).
We have owned this house at Le Clos du Quenin since 2002. We have many returners each year and hope this shows that we offer a well equipped and ideal holiday home ... a perfect location from which to enjoy all that the region has to offer. Patricia & Anthony
